The founders of Care Labs 4 Less, Dr. Ubaldo Miranda, Dr. Ramsés Vega and José A. Vélez, all with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, have a common goal: to close the Spaces come in high-quality health care and the hard work of people who cannot afford care, due to uninsured, high deductibles, or multiple copays.

They all work hand in hand with the communities to meet their needs. Creating solutions and offering convenient, safe and high quality laboratory services at an affordable price.

At Care Labs 4 Less we feel like ambassadors for the 28 million people who are uninsured, who have high deductibles and who are beneficiaries of their own payments, care and participation is required to provide low-cost solutions for all.

Dr. Miranda, Dr. Vega and Mr. Velez are focused on providing more economical solutions for our health care.

Our mission

At Care Labs 4 Less our goal is to accurately provide private lab testing to our clients in a timely manner with the most advanced laboratory network in the United States.

We are dedicated to those who are uninsured, who currently have high deductibles or any other challenge to access necessary laboratory services. We can provide that access with confidentiality and a focus on quality. We are making laboratory testing for individuals and families accessible and a convenient option.

Our commitment

Provide our members with quality health and private information in a safe and compatible environment. We also welcome patient-requested tests that allow the public to take control of their own health and well-being without the need for an employer, insurance companies, or a medical referral. The online portal allows members to take an active role in monitoring their health and well-being. Consumers can now have access to laboratory services that can focus on providing prevention and early detection of disease while taking an active role in promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Dr. Ubaldo Miranda – CEO

A healer by nature, Dr. Miranda is committed to his patients and helps them achieve their best health care potential.

With over 30 years of experience and a successful career, Dr. Miranda’s focus has been research. He worked for Einstein Medical Research in Miami, FL and was responsible for the Biomedical Science, Bio Photonics and molecular cell therapy simulation program, where he designed. analyzed and tested the therapeutic device in clinical studies.

Dr. Miranda also worked at the Miami VA hospital in the E-Learning Laboratory and multimedia research. He has been an advocate of using e-learning and educational technology to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of health education.

Known for his high personal standards of quality and professional integrity, Dr. Miranda is proud to bring Care Labs 4 Less services to our communities.

Dr. Ramses Vega – President and Chief Medical Officer

Kind at heart and overachiever by choice, Dr. Vega graduated top of his class with honors Summa Cum Laude, from the Medical School in Puerto Rico in 1989. Throughout his almost 30 years of medical career, he has created and directed large groups of physicians, providing care in hospitals, nursing homes, offices and hospice. He is a voluntary member for the Ethics Department of Florida Medical State Board and a member of the National Health Task Force Committee based in Washington, DC since 2004. One of his passions outside the medicine, is his missionary work and service to the underprivileged population. He obtained a bachelor in theology studies and is an Ordained Minister. Currently involved in various missions and soup kitchen centers in Nicaragua and other countries. Awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award, by President Barak Obama in 2014.

Other accomplishment by Dr. Vega include: recipient of the prestigious Thomas K. Browne 2010 National Champion Physician Award; elected in 2009, 2010 and 2012 among the best Internal Medicine practicing physicians in Miami by the publication Patients Care Choice; elected in the top 100 practicing physician in the country in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008 by the publication US Best Practices; published in Presidential Who’s Who Consumer Report from 2007 to 2013; chosen to represent the United States of America as a Primary Care Physician in the 2001 World Health Symposium; Secretary of Treasurer for University of Miami Hospital; member of Pan American Hospital Advisory Board Committee; Clinical Professor of Florida International University ARNP Program; Clinical Professor at Ross University School of Medicine. Currently Dr. Vega is involved in entrepreneur work developing and creating innovative programs and working with institutions in the community to provide excellent and cost-effective healthcare service to under privilege communities. Dr. Vega is currently actively doing administrative work, teaching, research, practicing medicine and doing missionary work.

José A. Velez – COO

With an MBA in Global Management and Healthcare, Joe oversees all leadership, management, front-line systems and quality management training for the organization.

His over 20 years of experience in management, he found his passion in the healthcare industry.Joe has worked with Humana, Tenet Healthcare and Vitas Healthcare.

With the integrity and determination of a great team player, his vision and passion for healthcare drives him naturally to join Care Labs 4Less, where he shares Dr. Miranda and Dr. Vega’s objective to bring quality services at low cost.

Mr. Velez considers himself an experienced leader with a proven record of delivering quality and profitability requirements within complex and collaborative organizational environments. He is a diplomatic and energetic problem solver that delivers superior results and works with diverse groups and professionals at various levels.
